2. TECHNICAL SALES CONSULTANT (2 Positions)

 Profile: 

v     Professional engineer with excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills.

v     Proficient in the usage of various computer programs; Proficiency in data compression related technology useful.

v     Team player with the ability to work independently and efficiently.

v     Excellent trouble shooting and multi-tasking skills

 Education and Language skills: 

v     Engineering degree or equivalent technical designation

 Job Description: 

The Technical Sales Consultant will be responsible for the following: 

v     Generating a client base in the medical community

v     Architecture, design and job assessment

v     Preparation and submission of quotations in consultation with management

v     Installation and follow-up

v     Prompt attention to service calls

v     Assist other Sales Associates with technical support in sales calls

v     Independent correspondence management.

v     Providing training for the staff or clients when needed.

v     Updating the Client Relationship Management tool efficiently

 The Technical Sales Consultant will also be responsible for: 

v     Technical support in all areas where capable.

v     Participating in training programs provided by Modus, it’s partners or clients

v     Upgrading skills as and when required 

The position might require some travel.

 

3. DICOM – HL 7  (2 Positions)

Job Description:

v     Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

v     Develop interfaces to hospital imaging systems through standard protocols (DICOM, etc)

v     Continuously improve existing software to ensure the highest levels of reliability

v     Follow standards throughout the development life cycle

v     Document all stages of design, development and test

v     Solve complex problems drawing on a diverse background of programming, networking, systems debugging, UNIX, and Windows skills

v     Use version control system to track all software changes

v     Develop solid, unit tested code

Experience Level:

5+ years

Requirements:

The successful candidate will be responsible for extending our servers that interface with hospital systems through the following protocols and standards:

v     DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) network protocol

v     DIMSE (DICOM Message Service Elements)

v     HL7 (Health Level 7)

v     HIS (Hospital Information System) /RIS (Radiology Information System)

v     PACS (Picture Archiving and Communications Systems)

v     IHE (Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise)

Experience with DICOM is required, familiarity with other listed standards is a positive. Experience with interfacing to multiple PACS systems is desirable.

In order to be invited to join this team, the successful candidate will have a computer science degree and several years of high quality coding experience.

Qualified candidates should have a commanding knowledge of one or more of the following (and not be timid about learning the others): C/C++, Java, Perl, JSP, Visual Basic, and UNIX. Three or more years of development experience is required. A background in healthcare, grid development, and/or PACS systems is a plus. Experience with Siemens, GE, or Hologic modalities will be helpful.

This position may require some travel.
